Declan Holmes BSc, HDip, M Inst P
Declan has a degree in Experimental Physics from National University of Ireland Galway and a Higher Diploma in Applied Physics and Computers from National University of Ireland Maynooth. He is a member of the Institute of Physics, the Irish Science Teachers Association and the American Association of Physics Teachers.
He has worked as a product engineer for Intel Ireland and as a web developer for Innovate Internet Solutions. Since 2001, he has performed interactive science shows for Science Ireland and The True Physics Project.
Anthony Caldwell BSc, MSc, MPhil, M Inst P
Anthony has a background in experimental physics, first studying at National University of Ireland Galway, then proceeding to specialize in optoelectronics and optical information theory at Queen’s University Belfast. He is a member of the Institute of Physics.
Anthony’s industrial experience includes working as a device engineer at Intel Corp in 1997, as a beta tester for AOL/Time Warner from 1998 until 2001 and working as a system tester for a subsidiary of the Prudential Corporation, Prumerica Financial. Anthony has completed an MPhil in Information Systems based on the Science Ireland’s website Physics.ie and is currently head of research for Science Ireland.
